Color Scheme Landscape Paintings
To finish our unit on color theory, sixth graders created landscape paintings using one of the 4 color schemes we have discussed. Students could choose to create a warm, cool, monochromatic, or complimentary color scheme. After discussing landscapes and color, the students were set loose to come up with their own design and color combinations. We had a lot of really great paintings (cool colors were a popular choice).
